Geotextiles

Geotextiles are flat geosynthetics, usually made of polypropylene or polyester fibers or tapes. They are used to strengthen and separate the weak substrate of communication embankments and retaining embankments. They are used to make separating layers between soils or aggregates. They strengthen the upper layers of the subsoil of road and railway surfaces. They are used to stabilize landslides and to strengthen roadsides.

We divide them into:

Separation and geotextiles - they strengthen the soil separation
Reinforcing geotextiles - as soil reinforcement through reinforcement
